Sony LIV is seeking an Associate Vice President – Marketing & Sales (L&M), Sony YAY The incumbent will oversee and drive our Licensing and Merchandising business in India for Sony YAY.

The ideal incumbent would come with strong background in sales, specifically within the Licensing and Merchandising industry.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Experience:

Proven track record of at least 12 years in Licensing and Merchandising sales, with a deep understanding of the Indian market landscape.

Candidates with solid on ground, radio sales, sponsorship, event digital, AFP, IP experience will be preferred.

Business/Channel/Function:
Channel Sony YAY

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive Licensing and Merchandising business growth in India.
Identify and engage potential clients, licensors, and partners to secure licensing agreements and merchandising opportunities.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, licensors, and key stakeholders, ensuring continued business partnerships and satisfaction.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify new business opportunities and capitalize on emerging trends.
Develop revenue opportunities through monetization of on-ground initiatives and IP based events.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, and product development to ensure alignment and successful execution of licensing agreements and merchandising initiatives.

Meet and exceed sales targets while effectively managing budgets, forecasts, and sales pipelines.

Provide strategic input and leads with guidance to a sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team members are equipped to achieve individual and collective goals.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and expand business networks.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, market analysis, and business strategies for senior management.
