Test Data Management Analyst

Job Description:

  • Maintain the Test Data Management Strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and secure handling of test data throughout the software development lifecycle. Also, providing inputs for Continuous improvement of the defined Strategy and policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify test data requirements and implement data masking, subsetting, and generation techniques.
  • Design and implement Automated test data provisioning solutions to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Utilise DevOps principles and practices to streamline test data management processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Conduct Tool proof of concepts and implement and maintain tools and frameworks for test data generation, manipulation, and validation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data usage patterns and ensure removal of PII in the Test Datasets and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Provide guidance and support to development and Quality Engineering teams on test data management best practices and techniques.
  • Monitor and optimise test data environments to ensure availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in test data management and hands-on experience in DevOps, and CI/CD.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in test data management, software development, or related roles.
  • 3+ Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • 5+ Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • 2+ years of a strong understanding of unstructured data management concepts and techniques.
  • 5+ years of hands-on with data masking, subsetting, and anonymisation tools (e.g., CA/Broadcom TDM IBM Optim, Informatica TDM).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modelling principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • (Certifications, if any, e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) – Nice to Have
