We are in search of a proficient Senior Data Engineer to join our team for a long-term contractual engagement.

As a Senior Data Engineer, your vital responsibilities will include devising, implementing, and managing scalable data pipelines utilizing cutting-edge tools like Airflow, PySpark, and Databricks.

Your role will also entail the support of machine learning models in production, creation of data products from vast datasets, and collaborating with diverse teams to comprehend data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute scalable data pipelines utilizing Airflow, PySpark, and Databricks.
  • Ensure reliability and performance of machine learning models in production.
  • Create data products from extensive datasets to align with business objectives.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to grasp data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement process monitoring for enhanced reliability and data quality, including support for ACID transactions.
  • Offer technical guidance and assistance to team members as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, demonstrating a solid track record in delivering scalable and dependable data solutions.
  • Extensive proficiency in Databricks, AWS, and Airflow ETL architectures, encompassing support for real-time data streams from consumer applications.
  • Strong command of Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL for data processing and analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of SQL databases and data modeling principles.
  • Familiarity with Databricks Lakeview and other data visualization tools for monitoring and reporting.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment, equipped with top-notch problem-solving and communication skills.
