Experience :

Relevant Experience:

Experience in manual testing, test case creation and execution, and automation testing using various tools such as Selenium, Appium, and others. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in working with cross-functional teams is a plus.


Summary :

The Associate Specialist QC - Automation role at Synechron is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through manual and automated testing. The individual should have strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve software defects.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices Strong capabilities in API testing and automation
- Expsoure towards automation types: performance testing/contract testing
- Demonstrated ability to develop automation tests for large-scale web and/or mobile applications using industry standards and Open source tools
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, particularly TeamCity or Jenkins - Programming proficiency in C# or Java
- Familiarity with ephemeral concepts, containerization (Docker), and public cloud engineering (especially AWS)
- Proficiency in database testing, covering Oracle, SQL Server, AWS AuroraDB, Postgres, and MongoDB
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements, review architecture documents, and devise appropriate Quality Engineering practices
- Sound understanding of Functional and Non-Functional Quality Engineering, testing methodologies, and analytics
- Experience in service virtualization within complex environments
- Proficient in collaborative activities such as Unit Test reviews with Dev Engineers, implementing Mock Integration Testing, Contract Testing, API/UI Functional Testing, and pioneering Shift Left NFT (Performance) Testing at the API level.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field 12 years of experience in software testing and automation Experience in manual and automation testing Good knowledge of software testing tools and methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

Design and execute test cases for software applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various tools Analyze and report defects in software applications Participate in Agile development processes and provide feedback on software quality Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
