Senior Cybersecurity Operations Manager

We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Operations Manager to steer our cybersecurity crew in protecting our organization's assets, data, and systems from cyber threats.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in information security, extensive experience in overseeing security operations, and a proven history of implementing robust security measures in intricate organizational settings.


Main Duties:

  • Lead and oversee a team of cybersecurity experts, encompassing remote teams and third-party vendors, to guarantee the efficient operation of security controls and processes.
  • Formulate, document, and execute information security strategies, policies, and procedures following industry standards and regulatory norms like GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, NIST, CMMC, ISO.
  • Deploy and uphold security tools like EDR/XDR, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Privileged Access Management, and Privileged Remote Access to identify, prevent, and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with multifunctional teams to pinpoint security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats, and devise action plans to tackle them.
  • Take charge of cybersecurity incident response tasks, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery, to curtail the impact of security breaches.
  • Carry out routine security assessments, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory demands.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to IT and business units on security best practices, risk management, and compliance obligations.
  • Keep abreast of evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the cybersecurity domain and propose proactive steps to heighten the organization's security.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, information cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of advancing experience in information security, focusing on security operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of information security principles, technologies, and optimal practices, including risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations.
  • Expertise in implementing and upholding security tools like EDR/XDR, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Privileged Access Management, and Privileged Remote Access.
  • Background in dealing with cybersecurity incidents, spanning from detection to resolution.
  • Proven adeptness in leading and supervising a varied team of information security professionals, including remote teams and third-party vendors.
  • Background in formulating, documenting, and executing information security strategies, policies, and procedures in a multifaceted organizational setting.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and industry standards such as NIST, CMMC, ISO.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and troublesolving skills.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Interested individuals must possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
  • Proof of employment eligibility will be requested upon hiring.
