Location :
BangaloreCore ResponsibilitiesApplication Development, Maintenance and Support. Debug application code to analyse and solve business critical issues. Work on support tickets and should work in support on rotational basis. Development activities will be assigned after gaining good business knowledge.
Understand the user requirements, analyse such requirements, development, and unit test services that support business requirements. Develop efficient software according to business requirements within given time frame.
Ensure compliance with relevant IT Services processes, methods and tools, and business processes.
Secure that the necessary and relevant review and audits are performed for the developed modules.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide input.
Create good practices and propose improvements.

Required CompetenciesMandatory Skills:
In-depth understanding of the Core JavaExperience in Spring Framework/Spring Boot/Spring JPA(mandatory) , MicroservicesExperience with Jenkins, Docker, OpenShiftHands on experience with Message queuing and messaging systems (IBM MQ and Rabbit MQ)Hands on experience on

Rest API

– both producing and consuming.
Experience with unit testing using tools such as

JUnit .Proven Experience in developing detailed designs of medium complexity applications/database.

Analytical and Problem-Solving SkillsGood to Have Technical Skills:
Knowledge on Exception Handling & Logging, CachingKnowledge in GIT (Source Control).Knowledge of Middleware- Integration Tools- Web Sphere MQ.

Mandatory Soft Skills:

Ability to perform as an Individual ContributorAbility to technically guide and support team members within area of responsibilityAbility to Coach and Mentor team members.

Good Written and Verbal Communication skills.

Organized approach for driving activities and tasks associatedFlexible to work in Maintenance/Support as well as Development ProjectsFlexible to work in shifts (European time) and on-call as per business demand.

Minimum Education RequiredBachelor's Degree in Engineering \ Science, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
