Role Overview

The Taegis Endpoint Agent, a key component of our XDR platform, plays a critical role in detecting malicious activities to provide data for further analysis in the cloud. Join us as a Principal Software Engineer focusing on Windows systems to enhance our endpoint capabilities. Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and security experts in a fast-paced, startup environment to create cutting-edge solutions that integrate seamlessly with our security analytics platform.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop software with high concurrency and reliability, minimizing impact on users.
  • Contribute to design discussions for next-gen threat detection and response.
  • Adopt Test-driven Development practices to ensure top quality.
  • Uphold coding standards, design integrity, and perform thorough testing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve product issues efficiently.
  • Create tools for team efficiency and support test automation efforts.
  • Collaborate with a distributed team to deliver high-quality software within tight timelines.
  • Mentor team members to excel and achieve outstanding performance levels.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proficient in C++ (17/20/22) with solid experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Windows OS User-mode or Kernel-mode Development.
  • Deep understanding of low-level OS operations.
  • Skilled in debugging application crashes and performance optimization.
  • Experience in developing applications with strong multi-threading.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing File System minifilter drivers.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Windows CI/CD processes, installers, and packaging.
  • Experience in software security, encryption, and authentication techniques.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of WFP filters and working with Cloud applications.
  • Background in Malware research and reverse engineering is beneficial.
