Photocopier Senior Service Technician Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Senior Service Technician, he should play a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of our canon photocopiers and services for our clients.

he will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and performing repairs both remotely and on-site. Your expertise will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of our service operations.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain our equipment and systems at client locations. Ensure proper functioning and performance optimization.

Diagnosis and Repair: Conduct thorough diagnosis of technical problems and perform repairs as necessary. This includes identifying hardware and software issues, replacing faulty components, and ensuring comprehensive solutions.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on repaired equipment to ensure adherence to company standards and customer requirements. Perform testing and validation procedures to verify proper functionality.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions. Document troubleshooting steps, solutions applied, and any recommendations for improvement.

Training and Mentorship: Provide training and guidance to junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Share best practices and industry insights to promote professional development within the team.

Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service and addressing their needs promptly and effectively. Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for technical inquiries and support requests.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest technological advancements, industry trends, and product developments. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of service delivery protocols.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or diploma or ITI or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a technical support or service technician role, with at least [3 years] of experience in a senior capacity.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including familiarity with diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and computer hardware components.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Customeroriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
