Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP CPI Integration Consultant with expertise in Groovy and extensive experience in complete implementations. If you are someone who can solve problems effectively, has in-depth knowledge of SAP CPI, and a proactive approach to improving service quality and delivery, you might be the ideal candidate for this role.

As a SAP CPI Integration Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions. Collaboration with different teams will be crucial to ensure smooth connectivity between SAP systems and various third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation projects, utilizing strong Groovy skills and technical expertise in SAP CPI.
Understand and analyze business process flows, work closely with functional consultants to gather interface development requirements.Coordinate with third-party application owners for mapping, connectivity, and testing to ensure seamless integrations.Develop and Maintain APIs using API Management.Develop and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI Web UI, Groovy, Java, and API-based integration techniques.Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, leveraging knowledge of adapters, mapping techniques, and message formats (XML, JSON, EDI).Configure and maintain standard adapters like ODATA, IDOC, HTTP, SFTP, AS2, File, SOAP, RFC, adhering to best practices.Support operational activities including incident, request, change, and problem management based on ITIL standards.Provide technical guidance to assist other developers in integrating systems and following best practices.Collaborate with clients to understand integration requirements, design interfaces, and support Go-live activities.Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in SAP CPI and integration domain, continuously enhancing skills.Experience working on BTP Platform.Requirements:
  • 7 years of experience in middle ware application.
  • Minimum 3 years of SAP Cloud integration experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, Groovy scripting, JavaScript, and XSLT mapping.
  • Expertise in SAP CPI components such as IFlows, ICO, SLD, ESR, and ID objects.
  • Design, deploy, debug, test, and monitor iFlows in cloud integration.
  • Understanding of integration technologies and communication protocols like AS2, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP, JMS, JDBC.
  • Expertise in messaging standards such as IDOCs, XML, JSON, WSDL, Delimiter.
  • Hands-on experience with technical adapters, graphical mapping, UDF, and API management.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining API Proxies.
  • Experience with Open connector integrations, Fixed and Value Mapping.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and non-SAP systems integration.
  • Experience with cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise connectivity, cloud connectors.
  • Analyze, Design, and develop APIs using SAP API Management and SAP API Business Hub.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, basic testing tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality solutions, strong problem-solving skills, collaborative teamwork.
  • Positive attitude, proactive nature, experience with Agile and Waterfall development.
  • Self-motivated, strong interpersonal, effective communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in SAP CPI or related technologies.
  • Experience with SAP BTP, SAP CPI-DS, CIG, and open connectors.
  • Knowledge of SAP ALE/EDI/IDOCs, alert configuration, and transportation of design and configuration objects.
  • Understanding of SAP PI/PO and SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
