Essential Qualifications:

  • BDS with Master's degree in Public health/Statistics/Demography/Population Studies/Social sciences from a recognized university
  • Minimum two years of work experience from a recognized institution

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in conducting population studies, planning, and executing community studies, and
- intervention studies in the field of Public Health.

  • Knowledge of qualitative research and experience in conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), etc.
  • Proficiency in Marathi Language is essential.

  • Handle and conduct data collection activities, project implementation process and regulate all project deliverables.
  • Work along with senior project scientist and PI towards planning and completion of project activities, troubleshoot issues and conduct extensive field visits on a regular basis to different areas of the study site.
  • Convene meetings and write minutes, coordinating with sites and research institutes in consultation with Project PI.
  • Independently initiate and handle public health research data.
  • Contribute to overall project needs and vision outside the field and collaborate with other team members.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the competent authority or the PI of the Project.
  • The position requires local travel within the Sindhudurg district and other sites in India.
