Lead - Internal Controls/Financial Planning & Analysis

We are looking to add a valuable member to our Corporate Finance team in the Metallurgy Division for the role of Lead - Internal Controls, Financial Planning & Analysis, who will be reporting directly to the Associate Vice President - Finance.

  • Responsible for ensuring effective internal controls and overseeing the consolidation process of the business
  • Assessing and enhancing internal control systems
  • Managing the consolidation of financial data
  • Providing guidance for compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Driving financial performance through analysis, planning, and reporting

General background:

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in finance with CA/ MBA in finance and brings 15-20 years of experience in financial planning and analysis. Moreover, they should have proven expertise in internal control assessment, a strong understanding of financial consolidation principles, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition, the candidate should be detail-oriented and focused on accuracy and compliance while being able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Candidates from engineering or manufacturing industries are preferred.

  • Coordinate the consolidation of financial data
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements
  • Assist in financial reporting and resolving consolidation-related issues
  • Document internal control processes and conduct risk assessments
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Prepare financial models and management reports
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for accurate financial reporting
  • Support long-term financial planning

Leadership: The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills to drive transformative change within the organization to improve financial efficiency.

Travel & Mobility: This role is based in Mumbai with potential travel requirements to various business locations.
