The IT Network Administrator and Cyber Security Manager is in charge of overseeing the management, upkeep, and protection of the organization's network infrastructure. This position focuses on maintaining the security, integrity, and optimal functioning of the network systems while defending against cyber threats.

The individual will take the lead in developing, executing, and overseeing security protocols and policies, managing security incidents, and staying informed about evolving security risks.

• Design, set up, and sustain network infrastructure, covering LAN, WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Configure and supervise network equipment like routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose network problems to ensure peak performance and minimal downtime.
• Carry out routine maintenance activities to guarantee network reliability and efficiency.
• Create and enforce thorough cybersecurity strategies and policies.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory mandates.
• Monitor security breaches, respond to incidents promptly and participate in internal and client discussions.
• Deploy and oversee security solutions such as intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus programs, endpoint security, and firewalls.
• Organize regular cybersecurity training and awareness sessions for staff members.
• Stay updated on emerging security risks and suggest appropriate actions to address them.
• Maintain relationships with network, hardware, and security suppliers.
• Lead responses to network and security incidents, including analyzing root causes and implementing fixes.
• Create and update incident response plans and protocols.
• Supervise and guide junior team members in the network and security divisions.
• Assist in creating and managing the IT budget, especially regarding network and security expenses.
