Team/BU Description:

The Product Experience department is in search of a skilled Application Developer to become a valuable addition to our vibrant team. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a deep enthusiasm in Full Stackdevelopment and is well-versed in the associated technologies.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

Developing features for an industry-leading SaaS product using modern frontend technologies. Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot micro services, React/Angular and related technologies. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences. Utilize Kubernetes and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, helm) for deployment, scaling, and management of microservices in a cloud-native environment. Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and other communication protocols to facilitate data exchange between microservices and external systems. Design and optimize databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) for efficient data storage and retrieval in a microservices environment. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of the applications. Implement Kafka integration to enable event-driven communication between microservices and support real-time data processing. Building and implementing top-notch user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework. Front-End Development: Develop user interfaces for web applications using Angular and related web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript). Code Optimization: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards. Responsive Design: Ensure that web applications are fully responsive and provide an excellent user experience across various devices and screen sizes. UI/UX Design: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing web applications. Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure high-quality, bug-free software. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize web applications for speed and efficiency. Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate effectively with team members. Security: Implement security best practices to protect web applications from common security vulnerabilities. Working agile within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and produce high-quality features. Working in good collaboration with other teams to develop joint features together.

Qualification and Required Skills:

10+ years of proven experience as a Full stack Developer with a strong portfolio of web development projects. The candidate should have extensive experience as a Java developer, including experience in designing and developing complex applications. Strong proficiency in Java programming language and experience with Spring Boot micro service framework are essential. Very Good experience of building microservices using Spring Boot with service discovery and event sourcing architecture. In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining microservices-based applications is crucial for this role. Experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as modern frameworks like React & Angular is a must Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization technologies, such as Docker, is important for deploying and managing microservices in a cloud-native environment. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and the ability to design efficient database schemas for microservices applications. Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience in setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for automated software delivery. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions. Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills to lead and mentor a team of developers effectively.

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

Knowledge on the Grafana and BMC Suite applications is a plus Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing applications is beneficial.
