Northern Trust is looking for a Oracle PL SQL Lead Engineer to join the Wealth management Investments team to work on existingplex projects under Investment domain and also work on modernization of legacy applications
This individual as part of an Agile development team, will be responsible for analysis, design and development of user interface and web servicesponents that meet business and technical requirements.
Major Duties Design and develop user interfaceponents based on screen design documents that fit within technical framework as outlined by technical architects Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriate to the platform Provide technical guidance to the development team Knowledge/Skills Agile Methodology Knowledge of user interface frameworks, Java, Application servers Knowledge of full software development lifecycle Strong analytical and problem solving skills A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery Required Skills: Minimum of 10 years professional experience in Software Development using emerging and modern technology platforms. Experience working on applications that involve Oracle PL/SQL and Unix. Solid working knowledge of SQL and associated database concepts. Familiarity with more than one of the following technologies: MS SQL, ETL frameworks like DataStage, Azure cloud fundamentals, Teradata, .NET/Java Knowledge of agile development practices and associated disciplines such as CI/CD, GitHub, Azure Pipelines Knowledge with visualization tools like Incorta, PowerBI and Tableau, Knowledge of security frameworks and controls Financial /Wealth Management domain knowledge is a huge plus. Will add value having one or more of these skills (not required though): Datastage skills Azure experience Teradeta experience .NET/Java development experience Experience Bachelor degree inputer Science or a related discipline Overall 9+ Years of Industry experience Experience in agile development methodology Experience as Lead Working with Us:
