What you'll do

The IT Solution Designer plays a key role in designing and implementing solutions and applications for a specific platform, business capability, or user journey in line with the overall vision and target architecture.

  • Brings a solid understanding of established concepts and procedures in solution design.
  • Carries out technical analysis to translate the technical vision into a comprehensive solution design, considering future capabilities, features, external dependencies, cross-domain integrations (APIs), and technical enablers/stories.

Typically reports to the IT Solution Design Manager.

Who you are
  • Aligns with the target architecture vision and roadmap to execute tasks supporting the evaluation and prioritization of roadmap items, transforming them into designs, changes, and non-functional requirements.
  • Assists the team in tasks such as designing end-to-end solutions, cross-domain integration, and APIs to support the technology roadmap.
  • Manages tasks related to ensuring solution compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Defines non-functional, operational, security, and quality requirements for solutions and contributes to release planning and the integration of new technologies.
  • Facilitates internal negotiations at an operational level and ensures the involvement of all relevant technical functions during solution definition and impact assessment.
  • Utilizes strong communication skills to foster collaboration with engineering and delivery teams, aligning the development of technical stories with defined architecture principles and patterns.
  • Performs additional job-related duties assigned by the supervisor or arising from designated agendas.
