The SEO executive is responsible for improving the websites of clients to increase web traffic. They focus on keyword research, limiting the repetition of content and building links.

He/She works on technical audits, site-migration and works with the cross-departmental team in implementing recommended SEO changes for improved site visibility in search engines.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop content optimization strategies that increase client's search engine results rankings
  • Research SEO keywords to use throughout the websites
  • Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
  • Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
  • Work on backlinking Strategies to Drive Traffic and Domain Authority
  • Understanding of on page/off page SEO concepts
  • Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
  • Ability to summarize data concisely

Requirements and skills:

  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of recent history of Google algorithm updates
  • Knowledge of the core fundamental principles of SEO and its purpose
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as PHP and JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and its usage
  • Ability to multitask and open to changing direction
