Project Chhalaang an initiative by ELMSSports Foundation is seeking candidates for the position ofManager: Human Resources and Organizational Development. ProjectChhalaang has a team of 35 individuals spread across 5 differentlocations having the head office located in Delhi. The candidatewill be responsible for leading the organizational practices ofrecruitment and onboarding of the new team members setting upcultural and organizational practices and guidelines for theexisting team following the organizational compliance relatedpolicies and guidelines coordinating overall inter and intra teamcommunication. Finally setting up processes and culture for thegrowth and development of the individual team members. The personwill be reporting to Vice President Project Chhalaang and will beclosely working with the Project Chhalaang Leadershipteam.

Roles andResponsibilities:

  • Developand implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with theoverall business strategy;
  • Bridge managementand employee relations by addressing demands grievances or otherissues;
  • Manage the recruitment and selectionprocess;
  • Develop and monitor overall HRstrategies systems tactics and procedures across theorganization;
  • Maintain the work structure byupdating job requirements and job descriptions for allpositions;
  • Nurture a positive workingenvironment;
  • Maintain pay plan and benefitsprogram;
  • Report to management and providedecision support through HR metrics;
  • Ensurelegal compliance throughout human resource management and ensurecompliance with statutory and internalpolicies.

DesiredQualifications Experience andCompetencies:

  • 35 yearsof experience in HR or administrative role preferably in the socialdevelopment sector;
  • Basic knowledge of labourlaws and statutory policies i.e. POSH CSPetc;
  • Strong communicationskills;
  • Resultsfocused with a strong sense ofownership and ethics;
  • Enjoy flexibility in therole and is highly organised;
  • Openness tolisten eager to learn and contribute beyond the confines of thisrole;
  • Good knowledge of Google tools sheetsslides docs forms and other basic techtools.
