Principal Software Engineer – Java Backend developerWe're looking for an

Principal Software Engineer – Java Backend developer

candidate with experience in Java, microservices, AWS, cloud experience.
You will report to the Director, development.

Job Workplace type - HybridYour ResponsibilitiesActive technical leadership in architecture and design of new product featuresFacilitating the collaboration and engagement between senior members of the team to ensure sound design and implementation of key functionality areas for the productArchitect the Cloud deployment, collaborating with Operations teams to design the next generation of application deployment architecture, and developing the orchestration strategy and automation framework for the product delivery processWork in an agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterationsProactively identifying architectural weaknesses and recommending appropriate solutionsEnsures high quality of all development work; follows development process without guidance, but with reviews.

Takes ownership and responsibility, keeps management well-informed.
Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
To make the product work end-to-end including managing source code, enabling build infrastructure, and enabling QA.

Representative accountabilities may include, but are not limited to:

Leading and driving the delivery and architecture for significantly large functional areas in the productTaking ownership for features in the platform that cut across multiple product groupsDesigning, implementing, documenting, analyzing and operationalizing platform features clearly to ensure that others may readily utilize themReviewing functional and test specifications and conducting training sessions for global services and support teamsAssisting customers and field engineers with troubleshooting issues and problemsYour QualificationsBtech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.8+ years of server-side software development experience, a portion of which was within a large enterprise software companyHands-on experience installing, configuring, analyzing, optimizing, and troubleshooting systems and system related technologyDesign experience preferably with product engineering backgroundObject oriented design and programming.

Strong programming skills in Java
