Role Description

Are you a champion UI or AEM Developer? Or perhaps a bit of both? We want to hear from you.

We are on the lookout for Front End Developer/UI Developer/AEM Full Stack Developers to join our India team at Helium. As a developer, your day-to-day tasks will include back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design built on AEM in line with client requirements and industry best practices. You will work closely in cross functional teams with designers, developers, content authors and product/project managers to create user-friendly interfaces and optimize website performance. This role requires a strong understanding of web development principles and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AEM-based solutions, including websites, web applications, and integrations with other systems.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional AEM components and templates.
  • Customize and extend AEM functionality using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement and optimize content management workflows, permissions, and security policies within AEM.
  • Integrate AEM with third-party systems and services using APIs, web services, and other integration techniques.
  • Develop and maintain reusable AEM components, templates, and client libraries to promote code reusability and maintainability.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of AEM solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and fix bugs, and ensure proper testing of AEM applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM features, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

  • Back-End Web Development, Front-End Development, and Web Development skills
  • Experience with responsive web design and software development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
