We are looking for a Scrum Master from Medical affairs who will be part of development of our core product – Arttha, a fintech platform used by leading banks across Asia.

Summary :

  • As a Scrum Master you blend deep scrum expertise with a passion for mentoring and coaching, and constant improvement.
  • As part of a highly collaborative scrum team you will advise, mentor, coach, and train on performance against agile values, practices, and processes to accelerate the scrum teams value delivery.
  • In partnership with the Product Owner, you will maintain a backlog, help to remove impediments, and facilitate agile ceremonies such as the daily stand up, sprint planning, backlog, refinement and retrospectives.
  • You will examine and drive team performance to rind opportunities for the scrum team to fully realize the benefits of working in an agile structure.
  • You will support the scrum team by engaging with all team members and product area leadership to reinforce and embed an agile approach and principles into the day-to-day work.
  • This role often requires coordinating the efforts of multiple systems teams to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution to our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Working collaboratively to enable delivery of the scrum team's mission through well-executed sprints.
  • Accelerating overall scrum team performance, efficiency and value delivered by engaging within and across squads to find opportunities to improve agile maturity and metrics, and providing coaching, training, and resources
  • Maintaining and updating scrum team performance metrics (e.g. burn-down charts) and artifacts to ensure accurate and clear feedback to the squad members and transparency to other partners.
  • Managing, coordinating logistics for, and participating in agile events (e.g., backlog prioritization, sprint planning, daily meetings, retrospectives and as appropriate, scrum of scrum masters).
  • Supporting adoption, and consistent use of enabling tools (e.g., Jira, SS, TFS, MS Teams).
  • Organizing and presenting ideas and information logically and concisely to a variety of audiences, including both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Working closely with the Product Owner to plan and execute on the highest priority work as per the Product roadmap.
  • Handling multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Coaching and mentoring complex scrum teams, regardless of size.
  • Participating in a community of practice and providing scrum knowledge to members of your product area and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the product area.

Skills required :

  • Experience working with or in agile teams with good understanding of agile practices.
  • Experience working with agile teams delivering technical solutions.
  • Effectively coach and mentor.
  • You possess excellent communication and people -interaction skills and can rapidly build trust and positively influence others at all levels of the organization.
  • You demonstrate a continuous improvement approach.
  • You are a proven change agent capable of coaching agile practices to teams and individuals from across different functions, experiences, and geographies as they work through new and unfamiliar situations.
  • You are an effective facilitator and can brainstorm with the team to generate solutions that address challenges and roadblocks to accelerating value delivery.
  • You are intellectually curious and passionate about learning new skills, and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Work effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, quick pivot, and rapid change
  • environments.
  • Ability to perform independently and under pressure of time constraints.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple scrum teams simultaneously in a deadline driven process.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements to deliver more efficiently.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications :

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent desired.
  • PMACP certification desired
  • Advanced TFS and Jira experience and knowledge of agile practices.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology, Business Operations or Health Sciences discipline, or equivalent or minimum of 5 years' work experience as a Scrum
  • Team player that contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet
  • commitments.
  • Consistent success in driving teams to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or CRO Industry experience highly preferred.
