Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Identity Specialist to join our IT team.

You will play a vital role in designing, implementing, managing, and securing our identity and access management (IAM) strategy within Azure AD.

You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Azure AD functionalities, best practices, and security principles to ensure a robust and user-friendly access control system for our cloud environment.


Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and understand business requirements to design and implement secure and efficient access control solutions using Azure AD.
  • Configure and manage Azure AD identities (users, groups, service principals) and assign appropriate access permissions to applications and resources.
  • Configure and manage Azure AD roles and directory roles for granular access control.
  • Implement Azure AD authentication methods (MFA, password policies) to enhance security and user authentication.
  • Configure and manage Azure AD conditional access policies for additional access control based on user context and device security.
  • Integrate Azure AD with onpremises Active Directory (AD) using Azure AD Connect for seamless hybrid identity management (a plus).
  • Integrate Azure AD with other cloud applications and services using Single Sign-On (SSO) and federation protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect).
  • Monitor and analyze Azure AD activity logs to identify potential security threats and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Automate tasks and workflows using Azure AD PowerShell cmdlets or Azure Automation (a plus).
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Azure AD configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest Azure AD features, functionalities, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on access control needs.
  • Provide support to users regarding Azure AD access and troubleshoot user authentication issues.

Qualifications :

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's
  • 47 years of experience in information technology (IT), with a focus on identity and access management (IAM).
  • Strong understanding of Azure AD core functionalities, identity models, and access control concepts.
  • Experience with configuring user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions within Azure AD.
  • Experience with multifactor authentication (MFA) and conditional access policies.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects effectively, and meet deadlines.
