Job Description

The Sales Specialist will be responsible for

  • driving product sales across Decisioning Software, Identity Verification & Fraud Solutions for all clients in the region. He/she will lead a team of expert sales/presales consultants on those products and drive Presales through a Solution Consulting approach.

Key areas for value added contribution include:

  • Effective communication approach, including pre-sales and sales collaterals
  • Developing client solutions based on use cases, business objectives, and needs
  • Solid Technical understanding of Financial Markets, focusing on the BFSI sector in India
  • Technical expertise in BFSI software and fraud product suites

The position reports to the Specialist Sales Lead.

The ideal Sales Specialist candidate will have significant experience in SaaS consultative sales, solution consulting, and product management. As we hold a strategic role in our clients' business decision-making, you should be able to work at senior levels and demonstrate confidence in this environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Specialist
    • Proficient in analyzing the customer's business, applications, and converting business needs into feasible technical solutions
    • Expertise in handling various software products, fraud solutions, and concepts relevant to the lending business
    • Developing a strong value proposition for Experian Products & Solutions across different industries by designing solutions, structuring deals, and offering strategic consulting
    • Prior experience in a presales team collaborating with the sales team to envision new business opportunities leading to additional revenue streams
    • Conduct client workshops to engage with client employees and internal stakeholders
    • Implement Business Process Improvement using different business consulting tools and methodologies
    • Stay updated on evolving business requirements, regulatory standards, emerging domain trends, tools, and products
    • Show a profound understanding of the Technology landscape in the BFSI sector
    • Facilitate customer-product alignment through a deep understanding of market use cases and trends
Qualifications
  • 6 – 8 years' experience in leading Sales, Presales, and/or Consulting activities within a tech-centric business emphasizing client relationships & product management
  • Proficiency in SaaS and cloud-based products
  • Familiarity with B2B Enterprise Selling
  • Solid understanding of software technology, App and/or Online UX / CX
  • Facilitation of innovation processes
  • Strong communication skills both individually and within group settings
  • Data-driven and analytical approach
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams
  • Highly professional and credible - engaging at all levels internally and externally
  • MBA preferred
Additional Information
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend a Credit Report
  • Capacity to review complaint/dispute details
  • Understanding of the complaints/disputes resolution process
  • Ability to offer suggestions for process improvement
