About you and this role

Provides specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations, and maintenance. Understands and implements Most Effective Technology (MET), work process, tools, and industry best practices within their discipline. The Hardware Disciplines within Engineering and Maintenance are comprised of the following disciplines: Buildings, Civil, Electrical, Instrument, Materials, Mechanical, Process Containment Equipment and Piping. Hardware Disciplines support both projects and technical support teams as an inspector, engineer on large projects or lead for their discipline on small/intermediate projects. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, techniques, and methodology within the analytical technology discipline.

Responsibilities

Prepares sketches and independently performs pipe stress calculations. Able to perform dynamic analysis (Time history, spectrum analysis etc.,) Knowledge of FePipe (Nozzle pro, FeSIF etc.,). Technical evaluation of all engineered supports & Produce/Check datasheets for engineered pipe supports. Periodic evaluation of work done by less experienced engineers is required. Meets with clients to discuss technical information and features. Delivery of engineering deliverables to support Concept, Scheme and Detailed Design for manufacture. Reviews and approves design drawings for assigned segment of a project. Provides input to estimates, proposals, scheduling, manpower planning, etc. This role will see you interact with all areas of our engineering and project team as well as exposing you to the client and their team. Communicate / present complex technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineering personnel.

Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering graduates Stress Engineers with experience in flexibility analysis of critical lines using Caesar-II. Knowledge of Piping Codes like ASME B 31.3/API codes is a must. Substantial experience in piping flexibility analysis of stress critical lines using Caesar-II on typically large refinery/petrochemical projects. Knowledge of other Flexibility Analysis software is added advantage. Should be able to do flexibility analysis of High temperature and high-pressure lines with associated supporting. Lines connected with reciprocating and rotating equipment's, Two phase flow lines/PSV systems. Exposure to secondary calculations such as flange leakage calculation, WRC 107/297 and other stress analysis related calculations. Preparation and issue of piping loads to and coordination with civil / structural Engineers for design of supports and structures. Preparation of supports MTO. Knowledge of SPR is required. Should be familiar with Isometric checking from stress perspective and with generation of Spring Index/ Datasheet & requisitions. 5 – 10 Years of Experience
