WHAT YOU"LL DO:


In your role as NetWeaver Automation Owner you are enabling the delivery of robust, downtime optimized and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within ECS.

You will take ownership of integration scenarios and operational processes considering accelerated growth (RISE with SAP).

Focus of your activities will be increasing automation in NetWeaver JAVA System Provisioning and integration scenarios along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort and cost structure (lower TCO) and deliver faster services to our customers.


Following activities will be part of your role:

  • Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized provisioning and maintenance activities for seamless customer experience, ideally hands-on experience for JAVA system provisioning
  • Optimize and stabilize NetWeaver lifecycle management procedures in a proactive way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities
  • Covering multicloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Structure and coordinate activities, action plans incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables
  • Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network
  • Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery
  • Change Management tracking of technical topics in Jira

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Professional experience as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation & migration projects or as technical project lead with customer interaction.
  • Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation & migration projects
  • Strong SAP BASIS and system operations knowhow, ideally in multicloud environment
  • Knowledge in design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures
  • Project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Willingness and experience working in international teams
  • Ideally familiar with trending technologies and tools

SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is SAP's managed cloud offering demonstrating accelerated growth.

To support our growth journey, we are searching a motivated, skilled, and value-oriented team player taking over responsibility as Automation Owner in NetWeaver area with focus on scalability to strengthen our ECS Delivery Productization team.

In this role you drive standardization and automation, and you are an enabler for the operations teams to deliver in time and quality services to our customers.

To achieve this, you will interface with a highly professional, global team of experts and architects from various teams inside ECS and the development organization.

Further you will be part of strategic projects for introducing new technologies or tools in our environment.
