The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in both the technical and functional aspects of Oracle Hyperion/EPM Planning, with the capability to bridge the divide between business needs and technical resolutions. The position entails designing, executing, and upkeeping Hyperion Planning applications, guaranteeing peak performance and alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities :

Requirement Analysis :

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect and comprehend requirements for financial planning and reporting.
  • Scrutinize business processes to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and automation using Hyperion/EPM Planning.

Solution Design :

  • Devise and structure Hyperion Planning applications according to business prerequisites.
  • Formulate and put into practice best approaches for Hyperion Planning application design, enhancement, and blending with other systems.

Technical Implementation :
Configure and personalize Hyperion Planning applications to cater to business demands.

  • Establish and uphold calculation scripts, business rules, and metadata in Hyperion Planning.

Data Integration :

  • Merge data from different source systems into Hyperion Planning applications.
  • Devise and execute data load processes to secure accuracy and credibility of financial data.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Execute unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing for Hyperion Planning applications.
  • Resolve and debug issues related to data integrity, calculations, and system execution.

Documentation:

  • Construct and update technical documentation for Hyperion Planning applications, covering design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.

User Training and Support :

  • Deliver training and assistance to end users on Hyperion Planning functionality and application.
  • Tackle user questions and concerns promptly and effectively.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Supervise and refine the performance of Hyperion Planning applications.
  • Implement adjustment strategies to boost system responsiveness.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Hyperion Planning Techno-Functional Analyst.
  • Thorough comprehension of financial planning and budgeting procedures.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and troublesolving abilities.
  • Profound communication and cooperation skills.
  • Background in data integration tools and methodologies.
  • Capability to operate autonomously and as part of a team.

Preferred Certifications :

  • Oracle Hyperion Planning Certification.
  • Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Oracle EPM Cloud.
