What you will be doing

Job Description


• Crafts architecture for systems and data integration, that enables the organization to deliver integration at scale


• Analyzes system operations through monitoring, capacity analysis and root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance


• Assists in the overall maintenance and support of the efficient integration solutions


• Leads integration testing phase of software and applications under development to identify and remedy potential issues


• Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), modeling of business processes, application design patterns, and business/functional documents


• Supports the building and maintenance of an Enterprise portfolio to support Application capabilities lifecycle and roadmap initiatives


• Supports development of Platform Reference Architectures and Roadmaps


• Advises business areas in the analysis of innovative technologies and how they impact the broader Enterprise Architecture


• Analyzes the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend tactical and strategic changes


• Participates in the life cycle planning of existing IT assets


• Analyzes the impact of implementing new technologies into the IT infrastructure


• Develops a technical strategy for data integrations and implement a scalable design using industry best practices


• Drives simplification and standardization of enterprise integration solutions and ensures low-cost, effective solutions that meet business requirements


• Assists in the analysis, design, and development of the integration roadmap


• Provides guidance, direction, and support to junior members of the technical team


• Analyzes industry standards and trends in integration technologies

Experience & Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. Requires training in fields such as information systems computer sciences or similar vocations obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program; normally requires a minimum of five (5+) years directly related and progressively responsible experience designing building testing and deploying enterprise SAP solutions; three (e) years of SAP application development (certification preferred) with in-depth experience in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, BAPI, BADI's, RFC Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, IDOCs, BDC and ALV Programming. Experience extending existing S/4, and/or writing entirely new S/4 programs and functions Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and ODATA services CDS tools using ABAP in Eclipse (ADT), and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) Experience in SAP Fiori (on-premise and cloud) and web user interface technologies like SAPUI5, JavaScript and Web IDE Experience with ABAP on HANA development

HANA - Familiarity with the methods, functions, and capabilities of SAP HANA, how solutions should be integrated and architected, and additional supporting knowledge to develop and deploy SAP HANA in an enterprise SAP instance.

Experience extending existing S/4, and/or writing entirely new S/4 programs and functions Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and ODATA services CDS tools using ABAP in Eclipse (ADT), and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) Experience in SAP Fiori (on-premise and cloud) and web user interface technologies like SAPUI5, JavaScript and Web IDE Experience in SAP BTP, Business Application Studio, Restful ABAP Programming Model. Requires increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area. May participate in the project planning process with team members. May meet with process team to analyze business processes, understand requirements, and recommend technical solutions. Develops custom solutions or integrations for projects. Provides input to conversion and migration designs. Maintains and develops interfaces from/to various applications. May define test plans and system documentation to monitor testing for the implementation of system enhancements, modifications and new releases. Conducts SAP unit testing to ensure systems meets user specifications. May participate in integration testing. Interfaces with testing teams to incorporate plans into the testing process. May analyzes existing SAP platform to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements, when assigned. Provides Level 2 and 3 support. Troubleshoots existing information systems to identify errors or deficiencies and develop solutions. Works with functional users to troubleshoot issues in production. Provides production support to nightly batch processing. Troubleshoots and resolves production problems. Escalates issues to manager and admin and process teams where necessary. Identifies recurring and potential problems and recommends procedures and controls for prevention. Recommends ideas for improving production support. Documents technical design and test activities/results Follows established change control procedures. Provides input to the development and maintenance of development standards for full life cycle implementations or upgrades. Assists in evaluating new SAP application development tools. Demonstrates knowledge of ABAP development Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong mathematical and analytical skills Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Good conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply applications knowledge to identify appropriate solutions Good interpersonal skills; effective team player

Experience & Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 6+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in software designing and development or systems architecture.
