Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Technical Specialist/Architect with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing AWS environments.

The ideal candidate will have a total of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to AWS and its services.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design and Implementation:
Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS services. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security of AWS environments.

Cloud Strategy Development:
Develop and execute cloud strategies to align with business goals. Provide guidance on cloud migration and transformation initiatives.

AWS Services Expertise:
Utilize a deep understanding of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and others to build and manage AWS environments

Automation and Optimization:
Implement automation using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Lambda to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Optimize resource usage and manage costs effectively.

Security and Compliance:
Ensure AWS solutions comply with security policies and industry standards. Implement security best practices and manage IAM roles and policies.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:


Set up monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other tools to ensure the health and performance of AWS resources.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

Collaboration and Mentoring:
Work collaboratively with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Mentor junior team members and share best practices.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices. Continuously improve the AWS architecture and practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:
10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS architecture, services, and solutions

Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or other relevant AWS certifications are highly desirable

Technical Skills:
Proficient in designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.

Strong understanding of AWS core services:
EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of networking and security in AWS.

Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong learning aptitude.
