Addepar is building solutions to support our clients' alternatives investment strategies. We're using AI to automate and streamline ingestion and analysis of alternatives investment data. We're hiring a Sr. Software Engineer in Test to deliver scalable and automated testing solutions these ground breaking software solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers and product managers to build intuitive solutions that revolutionize how clients experience AI and ML in the application and transform their experience of alternatives operations.

What You'll Do

Work with Engineering teams across different time zones in the US, India, and Scotland to validate product features and capabilities, identify and resolve reported issuesDesign and implement tests for new and existing featuresDevelop automated test scripts using test frameworksInnovate testing approaches for ML systems at AddeparEnsure timely and high-quality releases of Addepar productsInclination towards working on Data Science,AI/ML testing

Who You Are


Bachelor's/ Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience7+ years of Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance experience with at least 2 years of experience in finance domain (preferably capital market)Extensive experience with back-end data testing with strong ability to investigate on technical issues with developersStrong understanding and application of standard processes in Software Quality EngineeringProficient in GitHub, RESTful API test tools, test infrastructure, and CI systemsAbility to design, implement, and test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver or PytestWork with and implement test libraries and tools to improve test automation efficiencyProficiency with one or more object-oriented programming language (Python preferred)Experience with testing of Cloud-native (preferably AWS) applicationExperience with SQL/MySQL or PySpark SQLExperience with load/performance testingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working Kubernetes, Docker, or any container orchestration solution is desiredExperience working with Databricks is desiredGood understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is desiredOur ValuesAct Like an Owner -Think and operate with intention, purpose and care.
