Job Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out initial ullaging, sampling, and cargo calculation for accurate measurement of cargo on board crude tankers
  • Conducting final tank inspection and calculation of Remain on Board (ROB) through wedge formula
  • Performing ship-shore safety checks and periodic inspections during cargo operations
  • Monitoring and reconciling hourly cargo figures and Single Point Mooring (SPM) position
  • Maintaining effective communication between vessel, pull back tug, and shore
  • Ensuring compliance with crude oil washing requirements
  • Completing cargo documentation and preparing monthly reports
  • Conducting bunker checks and inspections of support crafts

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Completion of four basic STCW courses

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a cargo surveyor in a related company

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in cargo quantification in shore tank farms and ship's tanks
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication in English
