Senior Site Reliability Engineer

What you will accomplish

This role involves collaborating with teammates, senior engineering/architect staff, vendors, and clients in a positive and cooperative manner. The Infra Delivery Specialist will contribute to process improvement, develop technical standards, and enhance operational excellence by ensuring consistent delivery and implementing best practices. Operating based on ITIL v3 methodology will be a core part of this role.

You will:

  • Participate in round-the-clock infrastructure support for OpenShift, Redhat Linux, specializing in containers and Kubernetes.
  • Conduct daily system monitoring, ensuring the availability and integrity of hardware, resources, systems, and critical processes, reviewing logs, and confirming job completion.
  • Provide assistance to various parties upon request, investigating and resolving issues.
  • Handle hardware or software failures, facilitate recovery, and coordinate with affected infrastructure teams.
  • Carry out routine maintenance (and upgrades if necessary) on devices and peripherals to meet IT specifications.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IBM Scale (Scale Software Define Storage)
  • Hands-on expertise with Ansible, Terraform, and Python
  • Familiarity with AI, ML, and GenAI skills is advantageous
  • Essential high-level knowledge of core networking, covering Data network, Switching, IP network, and management
  • Practical understanding of GPU structure, preferably NVIDIA.

Desirable Requirements

  • Preferably Redhat Linux certification (RHCE)
  • Preferably Certified Specialist in Container Red Hat Certified (CKA)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification is a plus.
