JOB PURPOSE:


Assist Head-Landside in planning for new and execution of existing projects for Landside development of DIAL, security & cleanliness in the Airport Road network in close coordination with Stakeholders for efficient & safe passage to all interested parties.

To plan and ensure highest standards of cleanliness at city side area of IGI, Airport. Also, responsible for keeping vigilance in view of the hypersensitive security categorization of the IGI, Airport. Ensure highest level of competency in respect of intelligence gathering and crime control
. Keep a vigil on touting and any other unlawful activities in Landside area. Co-ordinate with law enforcing agencies to reduce illegal activities at Landside area

Plan and carry out a preventive maintenance schedule for upkeep of the landside area

Serviceability of House Keeping equipment.

Carry out threat analysis and draw mitigation plan from time to time based on the changing security scenario taking place in and around the airport premises

Keep a vigil on issues related to use of laser lights in the vicinity of Airport and also create awareness amongst the nearby villagers and farmhouses about the hazards of laser light to the civil aviation operations.

To take effective measures to prevent the use of balloons/unidentified flying objects/UAVs (used as toys) in the vicinity of airport.

Ensure that all concerned agencies are informed as per the standard operating procedure to neutralize the unidentified object without loss of time.

To ensure all machines used for House Keeping should have all required documents and should adhere to all safety norms.

He shall ensure that all House Keeping equipment used at activity areas, are in perfect working order.

If any equipment goes out of order, he shall take prompt action to ensure that it is put back into operation with minimum possible delay.

Maintain effective liaison with other airport departments and relevant law enforcement authorities

Number of structured meetings

Develop sources of information regarding theft/pilferage/touting/ smuggling activities and keep the GM-Landside & Executive Director - Security informed.

Report preparation & MIS.

Monitoring, checking & upkeep of the defined service level agreements by agencies operating under the land side management department.

Regulatory compliance and number of observation made by regulatory Authority

Know and understand national laws and regulations dealing with acts of unlawful interference which affect civil aviation and its facilities

Responded to number of such situations and timelines.

Compile reports on each survey, inspection, test or investigation for the airport security authority (And other stakeholders as may be required

Ensure proper maintenance and safe custody of Traffic equipment like walkie-talkie sets, HHMD's, vehicles, mobile phones, cameras, dragon lights etc

To supervise the operations of Shuttle Bus Service & Inter Terminal Transfer Coaches, smooth operations at Public Transport Center & ensuring smooth to and fro movement of vehicles to Loading Docks.
