The Role
As a Batch and Console Monitoring Operator at Kyndryl, you are a project-based expert adept at conducting analysis, documenting work, providing timely solutions, and problem-solving. This hands-on position requires a keen understanding of the relationship between a system and its surroundings, making your contributions invaluable to all clients.
- Participate in ongoing projects involving problem analysis, solution offering, testing, modification, automation, and system integration.
- Enjoy a role that encompasses a variety of platforms, requiring a well-rounded skill set.
- Engage early on to offer solutions, assess project feasibility, and identify technical risks upfront, managing client expectations and internal challenges with numerous opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Batch and Console Monitoring.
- Execute batch jobs based on job sheets or adhoc requests.
- Monitor batch job status for issues like overrun, msgw, not started, fail, etc.
- Report batch job status to the support team as instructed.
- Recover problematic jobs following operational procedures.
- Provide system monitoring support and perform regular health checks via console and email.
- Adhere to operational processes for issue resolution and incident escalation when necessary.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Understanding of batch job execution and platform operations on Windows, Linux, AS400.
- Proficiency in infrastructure system monitoring and console monitoring tools like Netcool, Datadog, Nagios, Dynatrace, etc.
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M, Quartz, and ticketing systems like Service-Now.
- Ability to strictly follow instructions, work flexible shifts for 24/7 support, and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
