Corporate Finance - AVP


The individual will have a crucial role in obtaining debt financing for working capital and project financing, managing project finance initiatives, and exploring opportunities for subsidies and grants both locally and globally.

The perfect candidate will have a solid financial background, a deep understanding of financial markets, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to navigate intricate funding scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Debt Fundraising:
    • Identify and assess potential debt financing sources such as banks, financial institutions, and private lenders.
    • Develop and implement strategies to secure favorable debt terms.
    • Create comprehensive debt financing proposals and presentations for potential lenders.
    • Coordinate with banks/financial institutions for proposal closure and document completion.
  • Project Finance:
    • Lead financial modeling and analysis for project financing projects.
    • Work with diverse teams to structure financial packages for projects.
    • Ensure compliance with project financing agreements and covenants.
  • Subsidy and Grant Management:
    • Research and identify applicable subsidies and grants at both local and global levels for company projects.
    • Prepare and submit grant applications, ensuring compliance with requirements.
    • Collaborate with project teams to maximize subsidy and grant utilization.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support fundraising and project financing decisions.
    • Generate regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide insights into the financial performance of funded projects.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and grant providers.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to negotiate and finalize funding agreements.
  • Market Research:
    • Keep up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and funding opportunities.
    • Assess the financial feasibility of potential projects and their alignment with funding sources.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in debt fundraising, project finance, and subsidy/grant management in the manufacturing/clean tech sector. Having existing relationships with lenders is a bonus.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks concerning project finance and grants.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
