Job Summary :
As a Senior MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications. You will work closely with our product and design teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in the MERN stack will be critical in ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of our applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, , React, ).
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
  • Implement and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure the security and data protection of web applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
  • Implement and maintain socket connections using libraries such as for real time communication features.
  • Integrate thirdparty services and APIs, including AWS Chime for audio and video conferencing.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
  • Work closely with DevOps to manage and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and Docker.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on the MERN stack.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
  • Strong experience with React and state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
  • Indepth knowledge of and for serverside development.
  • Proficiency in working with MongoDB, including schema design and optimization.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful API design.
  • Strong experience with socket programming using or similar libraries.
  • Handson experience integrating thirdparty services and APIs, including AWS Chime.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with TypeScript and its integration in the MERN stack.
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques for web applications.
  • Understanding of web security best practices and data protection.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Contributions to opensource projects or a portfolio of published web applications.
