Position Summary:

The Content Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in creating, editing, and distributing content across various digital platforms to promote women empowerment and career-building initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content marketing, social media management, and digital strategy within a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Assist in creating engaging and informative content, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, newsletters, and website copy.
  • Research and write content that aligns with the company's mission to empower women and support career development.

Social Media Management:

  • Help manage the company's social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments.
  • Develop social media content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging across platforms.

SEO and Keyword Research:

  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization.
  • Assist in implementing SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine rankings.

Content Distribution:

  • Support the distribution of content through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and partnerships with other organizations.
  • Track and analyze the performance of content to inform future strategies.

Graphic Design and Multimedia:

  • Assist in creating visual content, such as infographics, images, and videos, to enhance the impact of written content.
  • Use design tools to produce high-quality graphics that align with brand guidelines.

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to promote events, webinars, and workshops focused on women empowerment and career building.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative campaign ideas.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience: Previous internship or experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media management is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
