RemoteThe EpicCare Ambulatory Implementation Analyst is responsible for systems analysis, process/workflow optimization, software implementation, and support for applications maintained by the information systems department.
The EpicCare Ambulatory Application Analyst is responsible for supporting essential application functions, performing system configuration tasks, resolving problems, performing system upgrades and patching, and meeting all customer expectations for clinical and business applications.
Works collaboratively to ensure the operative performance of the various systems.
Develop strategies for change management and system performance improvement, utilizing quality improvement principles, practices, and tools.
Coordinates aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, communication, maintenance, and evaluation of existing or new functionality to ensure efficient processes/workflows.
Maintain current knowledge of organizational quality, business measures, regulatory requirements, and performs configuration of applications to support compliance.
Work closely with Instructional Designers and Workflow Analysts on workflows in support of end-user training.
Gathers and analyzes data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
Responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.
Mentor, lead and direct the work of others when applicable.
An extensive degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
RequirementsCurrent Certification or Accreditation in EpicCare Ambulatory.
Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting technology systems.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in healthcare or another related field.
Experience with EpicCare Ambulatory configuration tools supporting clinical and business workflows in the Epic Ambulatory EHR.
Experience supporting application and user side security and permissions for department context and job role (e.g., EMP and SER build and support).
Proven experience with system analysis and system administration, balancing operational, maintenance, and customer expectations related to the needs and capabilities of the EpicCare Ambulatory Application.
(CPOE), as well as electronic prescriptions (e-prescribe).
Practical knowledge of importing data for use in reporting software, spreadsheets, graphs, flow charts, and visual process mapping (e.g., workflow diagrams).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in clinical and business strategies.
Detail-oriented, with a desire and ability to learn quickly.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work productively in teams and independently.
Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret clinical and business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Preferred Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience working as an end-user for user roles supported by assigned application(s) (i.e., working as an ambulatory clinician or practice manager).
Epic Reporting Tools (e.g., Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards) supporting operational needs of Epic Community Connect Affiliates.
Working knowledge of Citrix, networking, physical and virtual workstations, Windows and Mac OS based operating systems, and both local and server-side printing and printer mapping.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Project, and SharePoint.
RequirementsExperience with EpicCare Ambulatory configuration tools supporting clinical and business workflows in the Epic Ambulatory EHR.
