You will be part of a highly collaborative and growing team and solve complex business challenges leveraging the modern data and analytics technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing batch processing solutions by using Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

The ideal candidate would also be responsible implement the best practices in design and implement the Data warehouse using Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks and Azure SQL DWH.At ValueMomentum, we endorse a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning.

Responsibilities:


As an Azure Data Engineer, your day-to-day work activities will be as follows:Design & Develop the ETLCreate the Pipelines (simple and complex) using ADFWork with other Azure stack modules like Azure Data Lakes, SQL DWMust be extremely well versed with handling large volume of dataUnderstand the business requirements for Data flow process needsUnderstand requirements, functional and technical specification documentsDevelop mapping documents and transformation business rules as per scope and requirements/source to targetResponsible for continuous formal and informal communication on project statusGood understanding of JIRA stories process for SQL development activitiesRequirements:Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills:Overall, 5-9 years of skills with, Data Migration and Azure Cloud Data Migration and Data Warehousing related projectsGood experience in writing SQL.Experience in developing and maintaining modern ingestion pipeline using technologies like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Spark, etc.

Strong experience in design and configuration of data movement and transformation (ETL) technologies such as Azure Data FactoryStrong experience in coding with languages like SQL, Pl/SQLGood-to-have Azure certificationGood experience in Requirements gathering, Design & DevelopmentAbility to work with cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.

Experience in high volume data environmentsCritical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem solving and analytical abilitiesShould be able to work and deliverindependentlyGood knowledge of data warehousing conceptsGood communication skillsWorked in agile methodologies and waterfall execution modelsMust have excellent oral and written communication with an ability to interact clients directlyMust be an individual contributor, good team player and self-motivated to take on challenges
