Digital Content Writer

- The Content Writer will collaborate with a team of writers to plan, create, and publish written content to support Gallagher trading divisions in achieving their growth goals.
- The variety and depth of content produced by the Content Writing team will complement revenue growth and content marketing campaigns led by trading division teams.
- Working closely with Marketing and Communications colleagues globally, Content Writers will partner with topic experts and technical specialists, adhering to editorial standards and maintaining Gallagher's reputation for high-quality content.
- The Content Writing team plays a vital role in our enterprise capability, covering creative production, digital marketing, data, brand, and partnerships.
- Supporting Gallagher in developing a sustainable pipeline of high-quality content to empower sales and relationship teams in engaging customers and adding value to their business.
- Transforming topic themes and research into a compelling narrative that helps customers make informed decisions on business challenges and opportunities.
- Advocating for editorial standards and offering practical advice to topic experts and content contributors.
- Demonstrating strong content writing skills - clear, concise, grammatically correct, and structured for diverse readers.
- Utilizing research, data, and customer insights to shape written content effectively across various formats like e-books, brochures, and newsletters.
- Producing initial draft content for review and editing, meeting tight deadlines and collaborating with Global Content team members for project support.
- Collaborating with editorial and content teams globally to ensure timely and budgeted project delivery.
Global Content central team partners include the Editor, Content Editor, and content writers in regional teams. Content contributors consist of marketing and communications colleagues, topic experts, and technical specialists. Enterprise partners involve the Art Department, Digital, Data & Analytics, Brand, and Corporate Communications.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing with 3-5 years' experience in content writing or research for a business audience.
- Experience drafting content from outlines and technical briefs to meet specific business needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong writing and editing skills.
- Previous exposure to compliance, regulation, law, or technology field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in UK and US English content writing with familiarity in brand and editorial guidelines.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and content writing tools like Grammarly and Google Trends.
- Experience in optimizing SEO content for digital channels and using marketing analytics tools like Google Data Studio.
- Eligibility to work in India.
