Position Overview:
We are seeking three qualified and experienced Personal Protective Safety Equipment Technicians to join our team.

The ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of proven experience in the repair and maintenance of personal protective safety equipment, particularly within the oil and gas industry.

The role involves inspecting, testing, servicing, and recertifying various safety equipment. The position offers a salary of OMR.

Key Responsibilities:


Carry out the inspection, air quality testing, and servicing of Breathing Air Compressors (Make: Bauer Compressor or equivalent).Inspect, test, and recertify SCBA and escape sets.

Calibrate gas detectors, including single gas and multigas detectors.
Inspect, test, and recertify fire extinguishers.
Ensure all maintenance and repair work is conducted according to safety standards and regulations.
Document all inspections, tests, and repairs performed.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with site and workshop teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:
Diploma in a relevant field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in the repair and maintenance of personal protective safety equipment.
Experience in the oil and gas industry is mandatory.
Strong technical knowledge of breathing air compressors, SCBA, gas detectors, and fire extinguishers.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in documenting and reporting technical work.
