Business Insights & Analytics – First Party Data: Data Analyst

As Eli Lilly works towards its mission of enhancing life for patients, we are strengthening our internal 'Consumer Experience' team to develop and implement cutting-edge marketing campaigns focused on directly informing and educating consumers (or patients).

To assist the Consumer marketing teams in their decision-making process, a data and analytics team has been established in Indianapolis (HQ) and Bengaluru (LCCI). This team collaborates closely with business stakeholders to empower them to make well-informed, data-driven decisions. An important focus for the team in 2024 is to support the rollout of a CDP (customer data platform). As a part of this team, we are thrilled to present the opportunity for a data analyst to play a vital role in the implementation and expansion of this CDP.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, IT, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Present insights from analysis with recommendations to a diverse range of business and technical stakeholders
  • Derive actionable insights from customer data within the CDP to enhance marketing strategies, customer experiences, and business procedures.
  • Assist in deploying predictive models for real-time decision-making using the CDP
  • Keep abreast of the constantly evolving ad-tech/mar-tech landscape and pinpoint opportunities to foster a more data-driven culture within the organization

Required

  • 2-8 years of pertinent experience
  • Proficiency in SQL. Familiarity with R or Python is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated track record of deconstructing unstructured business issues and translating them into practical problem-solving approaches
  • Prior exposure to Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or Data Management Platform (DMP) or CRM tool is desirable
  • Competence in collecting business requirements, transforming data, and crafting insights and recommendations from Analytics to share with Business stakeholders
  • Solid familiarity with visualization tools such as (PowerBI preferred)
  • Comfort with uncertainty and a readiness to work independently
  • Proven experience collaborating in cross-functional, cross-geographical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Data and/or Business Analysis within Healthcare/Pharma/Retail/BFSI/Digital/ Media Ad companies
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in technology, Statistics, or Computer Science
