Job Summary:


We are seeking an exceptional Senior Java Spring Boot Software Development Engineer to join our globally distributed team of talented professionals.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions using Java and the Spring Boot framework.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with diverse teams across different time zones.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure Java-based applications using the Spring Boot framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and team growth.
  • Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance for relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to support modular and scalable software systems.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Prometheus.
  • Perform thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
  • Continuously research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development processes and enhance product features.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to deliver features iteratively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. 3-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot framework.

  • Proven track record of designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and software architecture concepts.
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript, , Angular, or is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and proficiency in writing complex database queries and optimizations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and services like AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, and EC2.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing clean and efficient code.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment across different time zones.
