Job Objective:

The Graphic Designer and Data Visualization will be responsible for EMIR's design standards, s/he will lead data visualization efforts, support the research team with various design tasks, produce brand-appropriate materials for the commercial team, create deliverable templates for internal communications and reports, translate data into creative assets, oversee freelance designers as needed, interpret brand guidelines for consistency and alignment, and work closely with the Marketing & PR team.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and Produce Visual Materials
  • Data Visualization
  • Develop and execute data visualization strategies for EMIR's reports and presentations.
  • Support the editorial team for reports, data, Prezi and PowerPoint presentations, CEO sentiment surveys and infographics.
  • Transform data and information into creative assets and materials, such as charts, graphs, visualizations, and illustrations that align with the overall project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate and Manage
  • Report and work closely with EMIR's Head of Marketing & PR, content producer, and social media manager.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to freelance designers, including reviewing their work, providing feedback, and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines. Conduct meetings with all relevant stakeholders for requirements gathering.
  • Assist in the definition of EMIR's project/event/initiative scope and objectives.
  • Interpret brand guidelines for consistency and alignment, ensuring that all visual materials meet brand standards and effectively communicate our messaging and business goals.
  • Ensure project objectives align with brief deliverables.
  • Maintain resources and source files database

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knows how to use Adobe InDesign
  • Has strong experience with Adobe Illustrator
  • Possesses Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills
  • Has Adobe After Effects background
  • Knows how to use Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint/ Google Slides
  • Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, high standard Qualifications: Knowledge of the design setup for print and publications.
Years of Experience: 3 years of experience in design

Education:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, data journalism, or equivalent work experience.

Skills:
Adobe InDesign/ Illustrator, Problem Solving, Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Data visualization: 3 years (required)
