Role Overview

The Parts Inventory Analyst position in Bangalore, India, within the Supply Chain Services (SCS) group of the Product Support & Logistics Division is now open. This role plays a crucial part in supporting supply activities at a facility to ensure seamless integration between procurement and the facility's team.

Responsibilities

• Crafting enhancement plans for procurement and professional teams to optimize and streamline operations related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, and Logistics.

• Conducting analysis and upkeep of assigned processes to ensure excellence in output, build expertise in the designated process area, and contribute to ongoing improvement endeavors.

• Assisting customers and proposals by providing pricing information and aiding in supplier selection.

• Carrying out analytical and administrative duties in support of strategic purchasing initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Skill Set
Data-driven Decision Making: Understanding of data-driven decision-making processes and tools; ability to analyze data to make organizational decisions in line with business objectives.
Level: Proficient

• Applying specific techniques for data-driven decision-making.

• Distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant data when analyzing.

• Participating in selecting KPIs and metrics for decision-making.

Procurement: Proficiency in buying and procurement; ability to align with organizational strategies and practices for sourcing required goods and services.

• Understanding the benefits and challenges of e-procurement.

• Using procurement systems and tools for transactions with approved suppliers.

• Contributing to review and fulfillment of procurement administrative requirements.

Specific Procurement System Knowledge: Familiarity with features, functions, and operations of a specific procurement system; proficiency in using tools and practices for that system.
Level: Extensive Experience

• Enhancing standard processes for maximal system efficiency.

• Instructing on specific procurement system application, benefits, and drawbacks.

• Educating others on advanced technologies and tools of a specific procurement system.

Logistics Management: Understanding of processes and tools for efficient goods and materials movement; ability to predict and control supply chain movement.

• Maintaining shipment and invoice records in an established system.

• Contributing to process flow development for lead time tracking.

• Participating in logistics integration and network development.

Supply Chain Management: Understanding functions, principles, and techniques in supply chain management; ability to implement strategies and tools for process control.

• Recognizing software systems for supply chain management.

• Analyzing supply chain data to identify trends and enhancements.

• Discussing integration considerations for partner and supplier transactions.

• Summarizing supply chain aspects for different product types.

• Contributing to specific parts of the supply chain management process.
