In our squad Data Driven Services we develop and maintain high-quality microservices for digital private banking solutions, such as our messaging product InfoServices and the digital customer advisory Finanzcheck.

We are part of the tribe Customer Data Intelligence in TDI PB Germany that covers the complete value chain of customer data processing including mobilization, integration, enrichment and storage.

As Senior Engineer you are responsible for designing and developing entire engineering solutions.

You will employ your profound technical experience to ensure that the solutions are well architected, maintainable and built stable according to the DevOps philosophy.

In the team you provide thought leadership by mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members.

and aboveBest in class leave policyYour Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain high-quality data driven microservicesFollow the DevOps model to build stable, ideally zero-ops applications, share the responsibility for a stable productionFind new ways to work more efficiently and support the introduction of productivity-increasing measures, leaner processes, efficient tools and generally automationSupport the team to unfold its full potential and act as a thought leader to less experienced team membersContinuously improve the architecture by questioning existing implementations and introduction of new approaches and technologiesBe at the forefront of introducing new technological approaches (e.g. virtualization, containers, cloud, microservices, serverless) and motivate your colleagues to follow you in this processYour Skills and ExperienceSuccessfully completed degree in computer sciences, maths or related fieldMinimum of 5 years hands-on programming experience with Java.

Deep knowledge about frameworks such as Spring BootProfound knowledge of design patterns and principlesDeep understanding of data models and SQL toolsFirst exposure to cloud, event processing and Big Data technologies like Kafka, BigQuery, Apache Beam etc.
