Responsibilities:

  • Lead the conceptualization, curation, and execution of the "Shop the Look" initiative, offering customers readytopurchase design packages for their homes.
  • Research and identify emerging design trends, market demand, and customer preferences to inform the selection of products and design schemes for the initiative.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product management, marketing, and procurement to source and curate a diverse range of furniture, furnishings, and accessories for the initiative.
  • Develop visually appealing and cohesive design schemes that showcase the curated products in context, including 2D mood boards, 3D renders, and room visualizations.
  • Create compelling product descriptions, narratives, and styling tips to accompany each "Shop the Look" package, enhancing the overall customer experience and engagement.
  • Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to iterate and optimize the "Shop the Look" offerings, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, competitor initiatives, and technological advancements to enhance the effectiveness and impact of the initiative.
  • To have fair representation of HomeLane's catalog (Modular as well as decor) in the approach with fair representation to the New products introduced to the catalog to improve visibility, awareness and revenue
  • To be responsible for increasing the Average Order Value (AOV) & contribution of New Products sale to the business by these initiatives

Job Requirement

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • A bachelor's degree in interior design (regular 3 /4 years course)

Additional certifications (in): Design principle, 3D rendering, Space planning or CMF (Color, Material, Finish) would be an added advantage

  • Previous experience in residential interior design is preferred.

Skills

Creativity: Must have a keen eye for aesthetics and be able to conceptualize and execute visually appealing designs

Technical proficiency: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Enscape / 3D Max is mandatory

Space planning: To possess ability to effectively utilize space, considering functionality and circulation patterns, is crucial for creating comfortable and efficient interior layouts

Color theory: Understands color psychology and the interplay of different hues for creating harmonious and visually engaging spaces

Knowledge of Materials: Should have knowledge of various materials, finishes, and furnishings to select appropriate options that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Communication: Strong communication skills desired for effectively communicating the designs / concepts to customer
