Job Purpose

The Middle Management-Quality-Field will work to resolve field quality issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders to initiate corrective action for customer complaints. The incumbent will work towards raising quality awareness across various departments. He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth launch of products and thereby reducing quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the sales team and Dealer's communication to understand the warranty/Field issues reported and giving proper feedback to sales team on approval or rejection.
  • Analyze warranty/Field complaints, identify field failures and prioritize the list for initiating action.
  • Assign field failures to relevant stakeholders for corrective action based on analysis of the team (Part design related, assembly related , Supplier Related or Dealer/Customer related ).
  • Track metrics such as Fault frequency, Warranty cost, Customer complaints etc.
  • Conduct qualitative and in-depth analysis in order to identify issues in Vehicle & ensure the implementation of corrective action plan for resolution of issues by interacting across departments.
  • Provide technical support for legal cases as and when required.
  • Arrange replacement of part requests raised by customers.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting. Preferred tools ie., Power BI & Google Data Studio
  • To ensure timely implementation of CAPA so that warranty budget doesn't exceed the Target as set by the Department KRA.
  • Working Knowledge on SAP QM Module & PLM Windchill/Creo View.
  • Provide MIS reports of field issues on Monthly basis.
  • Track and ensure overall achievement of KRA by the department and Self.
Work Experience

Education

Bachelor of Technology / Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in handling the field quality issues in the automobile/motorcycle industry
  • Any Certification in Data Analytics
