Product Manager Position at Innovative Tech Company

We are in search of an experienced Product Manager to spearhead the enhancement of our cutting-edge technology stack.

This Product Manager will have a key role in shaping our platforms and collaborating with various teams including engineering, product, and data science. Your main task will involve understanding our challenges, internal business goals, and current technical shortcomings to create a platform that elevates our ability to satisfy customers and suppliers.

You will be the bridge between business requirements and technical specifications for your engineering team, making strategic decisions to develop MVPs efficiently. Acting as the platform expert, you will drive the adoption of new use cases and continuously enhance our platform’s capabilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert and accountable for the products you manage.
  • Prioritize feature requests and ideas by evaluating business value, risks, and development costs.
  • Maintain a clear product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders informed about goals and timelines.
  • Promote your product internally to ensure all potential users understand its benefits.
  • Translate business initiatives into engineering tasks, enabling the development team to execute efficiently.
  • Master the technology utilized in your products and leverage your expertise to drive innovation.
  • Regularly update business stakeholders on quarterly/monthly goals and progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience in the digital realm, with a focus on ML or data platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on technical capability, including high-level system planning without coding.
  • Proficiency in SQL to extract data when needed.
  • Understanding of Data and Machine Learning concepts at a strategic level.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional products and features within set timelines.
  • Ability to engage with various stakeholder groups and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, hypothesis development, and effective work prioritization.
  • Experience collaborating with large engineering teams, overseeing sprints, stand-ups, and backlog.
  • Establish a senior presence and lead your product effectively.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud and its data and ML services.
