Role: Piping Area Lead

Experience: 8-15 Years

Responsibilities:

  • Specialized knowledge of Piping design techniques in accordance with EPC requirements
  • Preparation of piping design deliverables such as Piping GAs, Piping Plan, Layouts, Plot Plans, Nozzle orientations, Isometrics, pipe support drawings, Piping MTO, Tie-in list, Piping Material Specs, Data Sheets, Material Specs & Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations etc
  • Prepare Piping Material specification, valve material specification, Piping specialty item data sheets & other piping vendor drawings
  • Check piping bulk MTO at various stages (Manual & 3D Model generated)
  • Preparation of Tie-in philosophy & methodology
  • Maintain close co-ordination with other discipline working engineers for successful execution of the project
  • Assist in all Piping Design activities, detailed list of deliverables, activities and their schedules
  • Assist procurement for piping material and other piping bulk materials by participation in vendor selection, provide inputs to RFQ, TBE
  • Participate in risk assessment and other safety/operability/reliability studies
  • Provide technical assistance on site during fabrication, hook-up, commissioning and start-up
  • Provide input to Layout/3D Models
  • Knowledge on International Engineering Codes and Standards ASME, API, TEMA Standards, Shell DEPs, ARAMCO, ADNOC and PDO.
  • Prepare Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports and Productivity tracking reports
  • Preparation of manhour estimate, CTR, Preparation of document register, schedule

Software Expertise:

  • S3D, E3D, Plant 3D, CADWorx
  • Knowledge on ISOGen and Marian Loading will be added advantage
