We are currently looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of Operational Efficiency Subject Matter Expert (SME), Fee Billing Operations (VP).

Principal responsibilities:

  • Lead standardization and optimization of Fee Billing activities.
  • Support migration from legacy systems to new ones.
  • Review current processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify critical data points and gaps among systems.
  • Standardize fee agreements with Client Management.
  • Automate data input and fee tariff management processes.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Enhance productivity through resource management.
  • Improve control, mitigate risks, and address audit findings.

Impact on the Business/Function:

  • Engage with stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Offer operational expertise primarily for UK processes.
  • Contribute to product/regional management committees.

Customers/Stakeholders:

  • Serve large global institutional clients including pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers, and more.
  • Support various regions and product lines.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Leadership & Teamwork:

  • Lead resources as required.
  • Collaborate with various teams and drive initiatives.
  • Participate in steering committees and regional management committees.

Operational Effectiveness & Control:

  • Manage high operational risk environments.
  • Address identified risks and ensure effective controls.
  • Enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree level or equivalent qualification is a must.

Professional Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in financial services, with a focus on Securities Services Fee Billing.
  • Stakeholder management and risk control expertise.
  • Potential for future roles in people management.

Personal Skills & Qualities:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with diverse cultures and change management.
  • Strong collaboration and analytical skills.
