Vulnerability Management:
Conduct regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Nexpose, Wiz, and Nessus.

Perform risk-based analysis of scanned reports to prioritize the remediation of vulnerabilities by correlating high-value assets, exposure, and technical controls.

Conduct Crown Jewel analysis to identify and protect critical assets.
Govern the patching status of reported vulnerabilities to ensure timely remediation.
Manage risk acceptance and exclusions for justified vulnerabilities, maintaining thorough documentation and reporting.

Threat Management:
Review and analyze threat intelligence advisories for zero-day and critical vulnerabilities.
Assess threat alerts based on relevance, exposure, and vulnerable configurations in the environment.
Coordinate and follow up with stakeholders to investigate the applicability of threat alerts.
Ensure the implementation of necessary contingency controls to mitigate threats in line with advisory guidelines.
Document and track threat advisories meticulously, ensuring clear communication and action plans.

Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Vulnerability Management (VM) tools and techniques.
Strong understanding of OWASP methodologies and best practices.
Experience in risk-based vulnerability analysis and prioritization.
Demonstrated ability to conduct Crown Jewel analysis.
Familiarity with patch management governance.
Experience in managing risk acceptance and exclusions for vulnerabilities.
Expertise in threat intelligence analysis and threat alert investigation.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
Certification in relevant security domains (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
Experience with additional security tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
